Is there a magic pill out there that works? I want to take a fat burner to help me reach my fitness goals, but I can’t seem to find one that does not have side effects like irritability, diarrhea, stress or depression. What are your thoughts? Missy, GA
I can tell you this – I would never take a fat burner or put many of the products that are available in my body. That is only my opinion and feeling though – each person is free to make their own judgment call. I always tell my clients, take a look at the ingredients! Almost all of the fat burners contain the same active ingredient - caffeine or some other substance that has the same effects as caffeine (like guarana)!
This means you can get the same effect with a simple cup of coffee without the other added ingredients or COST! Keep in mind there is a tremendous amount of money spent on marketing these products; fancy labels and fantastic ads make you believe that the product is a sure fire way to burn the extra calories you need to reach your goals! Do not believe everything that you read!
Why not drink a plain ole Cup O Joe before your workout to give you that little extra energy and push that will help you workout harder and burn more calories! It is cheaper and you will know and understand all the ingredients of the substance you are putting into your body.
